The Southern Desert Retreat is a luxurious 6-bedroom, 5-bathroom estate featuring a private pool, spa, and putting green, offering the perfect setting for discovering the natural beauty of Southern Utah, from Sand Hollow to Zion National Park. Accommodating up to 28 guests, it’s an ideal choice for family reunions or group vacations.
During May through September, guests now enjoy free access to the new Pecan Valley Resort! Inside the 10,000 sq. ft. clubhouse, you’ll find a restaurant, arcade, golf simulators, and a rooftop deck. Step outside to a 2-acre waterpark with a surf machine, wave pool, lazy river, hot tub, adults-only pool, and a huge splash pad playground. With 11 waterslides, pool volleyball, private cabanas, and endless ways to play or unwind, it’s the perfect getaway for guests of all ages. (NOTE: Pecan Valley Waterpark is seasonal and open May-Sept.)

Our large family had a great time at the property. It was clean, communication with the host was prompt each time I contacted him, and the water park so close to the property was a plus. Nothing negative to say. Would stay there again & recommend 100%!

Our family reunion of 11 adults and 14 children was so fun! We enjoyed hanging out a the house and playing in the pool so much that we never made it to the water park. A great place to reconnect with each other.

Amazing place to stay! We had the best time! Highly recommend, especially for big groups! We loved the pool at the house, it was a huge hit! The water park access was amazing too! Trevon the host of as great to work with. Definitely recommend.

The window shade in the king bedroom by the pool does not stay up.There were M&Ms under the bed in the same room.No hair dryer in the bathroom.The floors throughout were very dirty (bare feet were black after walking on the floor).The flat baking pan is dirty and has baked-on food.The oven mitts were filthy and had food all over them (I washed them and they look brand new now).There was old, moldy coffee in the coffee maker."White" bath towels in the bathrooms are dingey, stained, and worn.There are not enough plates for the amount of people the unit can accommodate.The queen bed in the room that has two smaller beds is broken and causes you to roll to the middle of the bed.The pool area is dirty/sandy and the rug under the outdoor table is extremely dirty, sandy, and frayed.Patio chairs are filthy and worn.The artificial plant outside should be thrown away, as it is broken and leaves are bent and tattered.The outdoor palm trees (real guys) should be pruned and have the dead leaves removed.Outdoor table is wobbly and unstable.Patio sliding doors do not slide well and it is extremely difficult to open and close them.One of the screens on the sliding patio door randomly fell off and almost landed on my baby grandson and my daughter (my husband put it back up). The utensils in the kitchen should be better organizedThe water filter in the fridge needed replacement.I feel that I paid way too much for this unit, given the uncleanliness and defective items.
