Trani is a charming town overlooking the Adriatic Sea, dating back to the Norman era when Frederick II of Swabia made it one of his main coastal fortresses. The town offers stunning natural scenery and monuments rich in art and history. The marina is a marvel, dotted with traditional fishing boats and dominated by the town’s symbol, the magnificent Cathedral of St. Nicholas the Pilgrim, built with the distinctive local stone and towering over the seascape. Also not to be missed is a visit to the Swabian Castle, dating back to 1230 and, together with the Cathedral, a highlight of the city, visible from the sea.

- IF TRAVELING BY CAR: The accommodations are located outside the restricted traffic zone (ZTL) and is accessible by car. Street parking is free on white lines (NOT guaranteed). A garage is also available upon request and for a fee payable on site.
