You will be able to access the whole home as well as the backyard area. There is a small creek in the backyard and a little wooded area to listen to the birds to. You will also have access to a nearby pool.
This is the Wonderland HOA community in Wears Valley. It feels very secluded yet 3 miles to the Smoky Mountain National Park, 10.9 miles from Pigeon Forge and 7 miles from Townsend.
It is best to have your own car to be able to enjoy all the attractions near by. There is enough parking in the front of the cabin for two cars. If more parking is needed, there is room in front on the garage on the drive way.
Things to note:
1. Before heading in, screen shot the check in details and download an offline map for directions in case you do not have signal
2. There is camera on the front porch and garage, pointed out for your safety
3. There are only 2 trashcans outside, any additional trash bags will need to be taken to public trash removal
4. A pack and play is provided, but you need to bring your own sheets
5. Do not turn thermostat under 65 degrees to not lock the system.
6. We do routine pest control around the property, but you are in nature, so there may be occasional bugs
7. We have a monthly lawn service, so this may occur during your stay,
8. This is a quiet neighborhood, so please keep that in mind when playing music or hanging outside. There is quiet hours after 10pm.
9. Trailers are not permitted.
10. Please keep the windows open and fan after taking a shower to keep the circulation in the bathroom.
11. Please empty the dehumidifier tank daily. It fills up full every 24 hours.
12. The hot tub is right next to the master bedroom so it may make noise heating the water. You are able to lower the temperature for the night a few degrees to prevent it from heating all night.

Dogs only with a pet fee of $200 per stay. Must be House trained and Under 20 pounds
Confirm with host before booking, certain breeds are NOT allowed.

We travel ALOT. We utilize the VRBO platform in most cases when we travel with our family. We stayed at Moondance Cabin, to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday. The cabin is wonderful. It is decorated like a page from Pinterest. It was literally spotlessly clean! The hosts were very easy to work with and quick to respond to messages. I simply cannot suggest any improvements because they have already thought of everything.

Very close to Smoky Mountains NP, which is where we spent most of our time. The property was clean and in good repair. There was plenty to entertain ourselves and our kids in the evening after hiking and exploring. It was a great spot for our family of 6.

The house was beautiful. Looked like Joanna Gaines decorated it. Layout was perfect, very well equipped, had everything we needed. House was squeaky clean (and I’m pretty picky). The bed was oh so comfortable and the sheets were bright white and crisp just like I like them. The porches were so nice, parts of it screened and part not. We will definitely try to rent this one again when we are in the area. Easy to get to, close enough to all the attractions without being in the thick of things. Cades Cove was just a short drive, just a few minutes in to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. We saw 2 bear near the cabin one day. We give this one a 5 Star rating and more!
