After a sun-soaked day on the island, retreat to one of three cozy bedrooms. The front queen bedroom is perfect for those ready to crash like a wave after travel. The second room features a pyramid bunk bed—a hit with little beachcombers and future karaoke stars alike. The third bedroom doubles as a mini getaway with a queen bed, desk, and small TV, ideal for mixing rest and relaxation with a bit of quiet screen time.

My husband, 10 yr old daughter, 10 mo old son, and my mom absolutely loved our stay! The dock was a huge hit w our daughter who fished and crabbed from the moment her eyes opened. Accommodations were as described and comfortable. The elevator was helpful for bringing luggage up and also for my mom who has trouble w stairs. I cannot sleep in a warm or even cool house, it has to be cold and the a/c didn’t disappoint. The view of the water was amazing and sunsets were beautiful. The ramp was useful as my husband and daughter spent a lot of time kayaking. We did have to call maintenance on the second day bc the tub was backing up while showering. They came and remedied it w/in a few hrs. My only suggestions for improvement are to consider adding shelving in the bathtub bathroom. Other than a small med cabinet there is nowhere to keep anything. The description of the kitchen doesn’t include a dishwasher but I must have overlooked that bc I just assume all properties have them. To be clear, there isn’t a working dishwasher. Normally I wouldn’t mind but bc of my son I had a ton of bottles to hand wash and didn’t bring what I needed to do so. Not a huge deal, I had it delivered but I would’ve preferred being able to sanitize them in a dishwasher. Not a dealbreaker just something to note if you have baby bottles to wash. Gates at the top of ea set of stairs would also be great so that pets could safely enjoy the upstairs deck. We look forward to a two week visit next yr!

Really enjoyed the house and location. I would highly suggest adding bumpers and cleats to the dock for boats. Otherwise, I would give it a 5 rating.

Pros: great location. The house is a very short walk to the beach and having the dock is a lot of fun for kayaking and paddle boarding. Also short drive to restaurants and grocery stores
Cons: we were disappointed with the cleaning prior to our arrival. There was trash left, dirty dishes out away without cleaning, used coffee filters and coffee grounds still in the maker....
The bathrooms were very grimy and had mold in spots. Not to mention the air registers were showing mold as well. The refrigerator had a lot of stains
Some of the minor issues included multiple broken window blinds, very old mattresses, and a lot of ant/roach intrusion. Should probably be retreated by an exterminator.
