The Space:

The townhouse is spread over two floors. On the ground floor, you will find a spacious living room with a fireplace, satellite TV, and Wi-Fi, as well as a small terrace with sun loungers and ocean views. The large, fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, and a dining area with seating for six. A private backyard garden with a barbecue provides a lovely space for outdoor meals. There is also a guest half-bathroom on this floor. Upstairs, the house offers three bedrooms: one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom featuring a bathtub, a second double bedroom, and a single bedroom. A second full bathroom with a bathtub serves the other bedrooms. The highlight is the private rooftop terrace, furnished with outdoor seating, sun loungers, and a hammock, where you can relax and enjoy the sea views. The property also includes an underground garage with an additional guest half-bathroom and numerous parking spaces directly in front of the house.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire townhouse, including all three bedrooms, the bathrooms, the living room, the fully equipped kitchen, the small terrace, the private garden with barbecue, and the rooftop terrace. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the property. The underground garage is also part of the property. Specific arrangements for garage access can be confirmed before arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Casa Elsa is located at Praceta Encosta da Prata 7 in Atalaia, a small and typically Portuguese village approximately 5 km south of Praia da Areia Branca. The nearest beach is about 250 meters away as the crow flies and approximately 500 meters on foot. A children's playground is just a one-minute walk away. Atalaia offers a peaceful, authentic atmosphere, with small grocery stores, a pharmacy or drugstore, cafés, restaurants, and an ATM. The nearby coastal area offers beautiful beaches, dramatic Atlantic scenery, and excellent surfing opportunities. The larger town of Lourinhã is only about 3 km away and provides supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, pharmacies, a health center, banks, and other everyday services. The popular Dino Parque Lourinhã, one of the area's main family attractions, is also nearby.



Getting Around:

The village of Atalaia is best explored on foot, with local shops, cafés, and restaurants within easy reach. The nearest beach is approximately 500 meters away on foot. Porto das Barcas beach is about 1.5 km away, while Peralta beach is approximately 1.7 km away. Praia da Areia Branca, a popular Portuguese seaside resort with a pleasant beachfront promenade, cafés, and restaurants, is also nearby. During August, the beaches can become busier as Portuguese families enjoy their summer holidays. Some beach sections are supervised by lifeguards during the summer season. If you prefer a quieter beach experience, you can walk along the coast to discover smaller, more secluded coves. Lourinhã, with its larger supermarkets and additional services, is approximately 3 km away. The regional express bus between Peniche and Lisbon stops in Praia da Areia Branca, with services running frequently. A car is useful for exploring the wider region, visiting different beaches, and discovering the many surf spots along this stretch of the Atlantic coast.
