Ocean Place will be undergoing an exterior waterproofing improvement project beginning March 16, 2026. These upgrades are part of a planned effort to preserve and enhance the property’s long-term quality, structural integrity, and overall appearance.
The project will include building waterproofing work. The current estimated completion date is prior to Memorial Day Weekend. Please note that all construction timelines are subject to change due to weather conditions or other construction-related factors.
What This Means for Your Stay
• Rentals will continue during the renovation period.
• Work will be limited to exterior areas of the building.
• Guests may experience intermittent daytime construction noise, the presence of equipment, or temporary adjustments to access areas.
• Pools will be closed during much of the construction period.
Our team is working closely with the property association and contractors to minimize any inconvenience to guests. Should conditions arise that exceed what is reasonably expected during this type of project, we will review the situation and provide assistance on a case-by-case basis.

We thoroughly enjoyed this unit ! A very Relaxing condo with awesome views ! The host was very responsive and maintained constant communication throughout the stay. Check in was very easy and smooth. We will most definitely rent again!

Our experience was great and we would most definitely like to visit again. The location and proximity to the beach can’t be beat. There was some painting going on around the property which we were told about but it did not interfere with our visit. Questions were immediately answered. I would recommend perhaps replacing the dryer. It would not dry our clothes even after maintenance came to service it.Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful property. Hopefuls will be able to visit again soon.

We planned our trip to Amelia Island at the last minute. We have stayed at Ocean Place several times, but never in this unit. The unit was very clean when we arrived making it acceptable. However, this unit desperately needs an update. The dark colors in the unit compete with the beachy vibe of the beautiful surroundings. Some fresh paint and updated furniture would do wonders. The dryer did not work properly and it took about 4 runs to dry one small load of clothes. I noticed this complaint on a previous review and hoped it was exaggerated. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Overall, it was a pleasant trip with room for improvement. If/when an update occurs, we would definitely consider returning.
