The Shard – Head to the top of London’s tallest landmark for spectacular panoramic views across the capital.

The Thames Path – Enjoy a leisurely riverside walk towards Tower Bridge, London Bridge or Bankside. It’s particularly beautiful around sunset.

Shad Thames & Butler’s Wharf – Explore the historic warehouses and charming riverside streets beneath Tower Bridge, now home to restaurants, cafés and bars.

Tate Modern & Shakespeare’s Globe – Continue along the river towards Bankside to visit world-class modern art at Tate Modern or experience Shakespearean theatre at the Globe.

HMS Belfast – Explore the historic Royal Navy warship permanently moored on the Thames, with fantastic views back towards Tower Bridge.

Food, drinks & evenings

You’ll be spoilt for choice locally, from casual cafés and food markets to stylish restaurants and traditional London pubs. Bermondsey is particularly well known for its food and drink scene, including the famous Bermondsey Beer Mile.

Getting around

One of the biggest advantages of staying at Maltings Place is being able to explore so much of London on foot. London Bridge station provides excellent Underground and National Rail connections, while Borough and Bermondsey stations are also nearby. From here, many central London attractions are only a short journey away.
