This 1100 sq ft gem is located just 3 blocks from the center of town and the historic Chagrin Falls viewing area. The original structure features exposed hand cut beams from the 1800's and its charm continues down to the rustic flooring. After appreciating the historic elements, you'll enjoy the remaining areas that have been completely updated and ready for your rest and relaxation. Sip your coffee from the front porch or walk to shopping and dining. You cannot beat the location!

Interior Amenities include wi-fi, a full kitchen, Keurig coffee maker, and a washer and dryer for guest usage. Spot cleaning supplies will be provided by request for guests with longer stays.

Good location near Chagrin River and Chagrin Falls. Excellent independent book store in town!Good restaurants. Grocery store one block away.Welcoming backyard with a great space to sit outside. Comfortable front porch. Ample space for 2 to 4 people. Modern kitchen.As with many older houses, the upstairs runs into the slanted ceilings of the roof. Be careful not to hit your head going up the stairs!Did not provide shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, so bring your own!AC and a window AC unit in the larger bedroom were great for hotter days. For host:The kitchen needs dishtowels and a dishrag/sponge. Small bedroom needs window screen. Please mark the ceiling upstairs, so people are aware not to hit their heads.REcycling instructions would be helpful as there appears to be a recycling bin.

Pros: location near downtown and the falls, charming ambience, cute character home with darling front porch. Cons: some needed deferred maintenance/deep cleaning in bathroom (broken and molding baseboards), need for more hooks/shelves in bathroom for personal items, would be nice to have a curtain on glass front door (feel a bit on display to passers by), basement IMO is not set up for guest use. The washer dryer are new but the basement needs cleaning and at the minimum a fresh coat of floor paint. I have a 100yo house so I get that it won't be finished or glamorous but it's too scary and dirty in its current state. Some info on how to recycle would be helpful.
