SWIMMING POOLS, PLAYGROUND, PICKLEBALL COURT, PATH TO LAKE
Yes, plural is correct -- there are two pools in the neighborhood that you have access to! Both the heated indoor pool and the outdoor swimming pool are a quick walk from the front door, plus the outdoor pool has a super fun water slide and a kids splash area.
The kiddo's playground and the pickleball court are next to the outdoor pool.
The path to the lake is at the bottom corner of the neighborhood. The trailhead is a little steep, but then it's an easy downhill trek to a quiet cove you may splash, wade, and fish in.

💳 Credit card must be on file in case of damages. We will send you an email to authorize a $1 hold after your booking is confirmed. This hold begins 3 days before your arrival and is released 3 days after departure if there is no damage, no excessive cleaning needed, and no house rules are broken.
🚗 Drivers license will be required with our signed guest agreement after you book, along with a selfie holding your photo ID
🆔 We will perform a Guest ID verification securely through our payment processor after you book. The main purpose is to make sure no one has stolen your credit card and used it without your permission.
The Guest ID verification is a two factor authorization that asks you for your phone number and birth date, then it will text you a code to enter.
If the verification fails, we’ll cancel the reservation and void the transaction.

You can purchase travel insurance for your reservation! The standard policy covers quite a few reasons for cancellation and applies to your whole traveling group.

Highland Retreat house was more than we ever anticipated! Opening the front door for the first time took our breath away. We walked around the home in awe of what was provided. Everything was provided for a restful stay- the beds were so comfy, and sitting out on the decks so calming! Three generations of our family enjoyed their time there, even the littlest ones. Thank you for such a great family retreat!

We found this house to be perfect for our family. The rooms were spacious and all the en-suite bathrooms were great! We had small children and the pool was perfect to entertain them in the evenings, with plenty of beach towels to use. The kitchen was fully stocked and the two refrigerators were very useful! The only negative was the dishwasher didn’t clean well! We spent a lot of time on the large deck and the view was hard to beat! This house was in a great location and not too far from anything we wanted to do. Overall, our stay was great and I would highly recommend Highland Retreat and would definitely stay there again.

The Highland Retreat was Perfect for our family. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we could have needed. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Having two decks was nice, the larger one was perfect for the entire family to get together in the evening and the upper deck was great for the “night owls”. Having an indoor pool in the house came in handy on the days that we had rain and didn’t want to get out. This was our 2nd stay with Branson Family Retreats and we can’t wait to do it again. Nat and Tyann were wonderful, and so easy to work with.

House was clean and ready to go - we got a text that it would be ready early so we were able to get in a couple of hours before normal check-in time. Indoor pool was great. The hot tub doesn't have water jets to get the full effect of a hot tub, but it was nice to have a hot tub, and right next to the pool. View of the lake was great.
