Cabin was nice, could use some updating. It would be a great place to stay in the winter. Summetime or spring you cant see a thing from your outdoor patio no view of the smokeys. Tree leaves are in the way from side to back. The grill should really be changed it is older than the cabin. Communication with the host was non existent. Check in check out was 100% location was excellent as well over all we had a great time at the cabin.

The cabin it's self is very nice. House keeping had missed a bathroom trash can, floors need mopped, human feces missed on the wall and base board in the 2nd bathroom. On the plus side, the beds were comfy, plenty of towels were provided.

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin however there are several downsides. The cabin is on a very steep hill without a private driveway so your vehicle is always at an incline. The hill is decently difficult to walk on for young children. We noticed several things needing fixing in the cabin upon arrival. I did reach out to the host immediately but did not receive a response. The toilet in the 2nd bedroom on the main floor’s bathroom would spray water when flushing. We were unable to use that bathroom during our stay because of this. The pullout sofa in the loft is broken to the point of not being able to stow it away. Several legs on the pool table are completely broken off and the table is just resting on top. There were also several issues with cleanliness that led to the lower rating. We found a used qtip in one room, noticed things under the beds, the master bedroom toilet had some nasty brown stains under the toilet bowl lip, the shower heads could use a better cleaning, the fridge needs a new filter, and there were tons of small gnat like bugs in the cabin. None of these things ruined our trip by any means, but we believe fixing these things would make a stay here more enjoyable for our guests!
