Big Wave House is located in the center of Sítio da Nazaré, and you can walk anywhere in the town. It’s close to the lighthouse, where you can watch the big waves, and to a spot with a panoramic view of all of Nazaré and Praia do Norte (big waves). The surrounding area is quiet, ideal for families or groups of friends. There are plenty of shops, outdoor cafes, restaurants, a pharmacy, and a beautiful church in the area, and it’s also close to the panoramic elevator that takes you to the center of Nazaré, so you don’t need to use a car.
