In the historical heart of Florence, located in Saint Maria Novella' s neighborhood we rent our family property . The flat is at the third and last floor of an ancient tower house (thirteenth century); the flat is supplied with period furniture and new modern appliances . From its picture windows you can see the main monuments of ancient Florence and romantic rooftops. We stay about 300 meters from Santa Maria Novella train station and 25 minutes ( by tramway) from the airport.

Very good location, close to the railway station and airport tram, and handy to all the tourist sites to see in Florence. And the host was excellent. It likely said it in the property description and which I likely missed, the only negative I would say about the property is the three steep flights of stairs we had to take to get to our apartment.

The place is very well furnished and cosy. Kitchen utensils are all what one needs (which was important for us as we like to make our own food), lots of dishes, glasses pots and pans. the bedroom is of good size and so is the bathroom. The place is nicely decorated. A little home away from home.It should be said that the flat is on the third floor and the steps are steep, a bit difficult for the seniors we are. To get to the bedroom from the entrance is another flight of stairs. The heating was a bit sporadic, coming on and off. The weather was cold during our stay and a bit more heat would have been appreciated.There is no washing machine on site but there is a laundry a few minutes away.
