Welcome to the Frontier Cabin by Twin Beds Vacation Homes. Going to the Sun Road is OPEN! We are 7 minutes from the entrance to Glacier NP! Frontier Cabin has all the rustic appeal of Montana set in an ideal location, large enough to enjoy with the whole family, and with all the comfort of a luxury home. Enjoy an evening fire, roast s'mores, and relieve the events of the day. Let your vacation begin and end in the comfort of Montana's most iconic setting.

This is a quiet wooded rural area. There are three other cabins on the property, both are completely separate cabins and you would have no interactions with other guests. Just be aware and respectful of other guests on property.
The cabin is accessed through a digital lock.
The custom-built cabin is furnished throughout with beautiful handmade log furniture. The cabin provides the master bedroom on the main floor with a walk-in shower fitted with dual rain shower heads and heated bathroom floors. The Great Room holds a fully stocked kitchen with high-end stainless-steel appliances, hammered copper sink and buffet style counter tops. From the Great Room you’ll also discover a large dining table to enjoy a hearty dinner to re-energize for the following day. You may then climb the custom-built staircase leading to the large open loft area. This is a great spot for evening games, reading a book or planning the next day’s adventure on the antique wooden desk.
Outside, you’ll find a large covered patio perfect for enjoying the morning sunrise. You’ll also discover a gas grill to enjoy a BBQ and why not light a fire in the camp ring to enjoy the night air and tell campfire stories as well.

- We do provide wifi, however it may not be as fast as some are used to. Also, mobile service has good coverage, but again, living in the county does bring a dropped call from time to time.

The Frontier cabin was perfect for our family of 5. It is convenient to GNP, yet quiet and tucked into a scenic and private little spot. The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable without being fussy. The living space, inside and out, was large enough for a group of 5 or 6 to gather comfortably. The host provided many unexpected little amenities that were appreciated. The host provided excellent communication from the time we booked and was available to answer questions at any time. The price is a bit high but I realize it’s overflow lodging for a national park as well as being peak season. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone that needs a larger place for a gathering of family and friends.

The check in process was seamless. There are cabins in the area but not too close. We didn’t want a remote location as we had our dogs. Conveniently located to GNP, Glacier Airport and Whitefish. The cabin is very comfortable with all amenities provided. The upstairs bedroom is a private room not a loft. We would love to stay again on a future visit.

The 3-star rating takes into consideration the high price of the unit. First the positives: The physical attributes inside are nice. The unit has high quality furnishings, appliances and finishes. Bathrooms…though not large were nicely appointed. Laundry area was very good. Location is convenient to the park and not far from Columbia Falls for more restaurants and better grocery shopping options. WiFi service was very good.
Less than ideal: The covered patio area was a little junky and had not been cleaned in awhile. The setting was quiet but not as private as we have hoped based on the “nestled on 3 acres” comment in the property description. The property description also lists a dishwasher but there was none. We had difficulty during the latter part of our stay operating the TV/streaming services. The property manager was responsive offering suggestions on how to correct it but none were successful.
