One of Folly's Best! Recently updated, this 3 bedroom 2 bath classic Folly home sleeps up to 8 people and is located directly on the beach! Sit back and enjoy amazing sunsets from the private deck or screened porch or meander to the beach on your own private boardwalk. This amazing home features 4 king and 1 queen bedrooms. The house has an open floor plan with a large dining table that will easily seat everyone. Numerous amenities including 5 HD TV's with cable and high-speed internet. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cookware you need for a simple breakfast or an all-out low-country boil. This property also has a washer and dryer for your convenience. A short walk away you will find all the restaurants, shops and bars located along Center Street leading up to the Folly Pier. The iconic 24/7 Bert's Market is located nearby for organic vegetables, a bottle of wine or a growler from one of your favorite micro-brews. Downtown Charleston is a mere 20 minute drive making Folly Beach the perfect location for visitors looking to experience a little of everything Charleston and the South Carolina coast have to offer. We loved the access to the beach straight back from the house! Especially with little kids, we were able to quickly get back and forth to the beach from the house. The outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off the sand before coming inside to shower. The kitchen was large with lots of equipment for cooking. There was no spices so make sure to bring your own when you come. We were provided shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion. It was nice to have small toiletries close at hand when our kids needed to get in a quick bath before bed. We also were provided a few dishwasher pods and laundry pods. There was no pack and play or high chair available so that is also something to consider when booking a stay. We ended up using a third party company to rent things we needed for our toddlers while at the beach and at the house.

We enjoyed our long weekend stay at Dusty's Dunes! Check-in was simple, the kitchen was well appointed, and the location of the home was perfect.....on the beach and also within walking distance to everything Folly has to offer!

Good location and walkable to Berts and everything else. Right on the beach. All of the mechanicals of the house worked well. Only feedback is that it would be nice to have a better grill and some outdoor furniture on the deck.

The location on the beach and walking distance to Folly are amazing 10/10. At first the house seemed great, but then the "lipstick wore off" and we started to realize lots of little things were wrong, The floor upstairs & downstairs are uneven and had nails sticking out. The iron had rusted and stained a dress shirt. A door handle fell off into my husband's hand. A cockroach appeared in the kitchen. We flipped on a lightswitch and we experience a brief electrical shock.And, we were surprised the rental agency provides little to no 'extras'. For a house that could hold 10 people, we were given 2 small hotel sized bars of soap and shampoo, and only enough laundry and dish soap for 4 loads. Bring your own hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and COFFEE--Even a Motel 6 provides coffee! And no beach gear at all, not even a plastic shovel for the kiddos.I will say, the workers from the rental agency that I spoke to were very nice and perhaps it was just the perfect storm of things going wrong, but at this price point we were disappointed in our experience.
