8 / 10Excellent·juill. 2025
I love the concept of Eric's Retreat! The property manager was very helpful and was relatively quick to respond. The only issue I had was the smell of our room. It smelled like overripe oranges and was cloying. I also found a reddish brown tadpole bug in the bathroom. When I alerted the management about it, they said they would be on the look out as they cleaned the room. The bed was very comfortable. This was very close to many places we wanted to go to in this area.

This was a perfect location for needing a quiet place to lay our heads after shopping & sightseeing. The only reasons for not giving all 5 stars: No microwave in room to heat up leftovers & didn't realize there wasn't an extra roll of toilet paper until night before we checked out.

We arrived just after 3, check in was easy. We appreciated that there was someone to greet us, show us to our room and explain parking. Comfortable bed, clean and quiet. Thank you!

We had a very nice room and were pleased with our stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. Plus, I love your mission so much. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone coming to the Minneapolis area and will stay here again if I return someday.
