This home is perfect for families looking to benefit from a large gathering area around the pool or front covered airconditioned porch, or even an outside porch for sitting and watching the ocean and things to do. The upstairs has an ample gathering area for families and a fully equipped kitchen with a washer and dryer, three bedrooms, and a full bath with a walk-in shower. The outside pool deck is stunning and features a heated saltwater pool and a large, open, covered area for sun and shade. The grill is ready for your selection of steak, chicken, or fish, and the pool area and privacy fencing make for a very relaxing and fun location for the family. Walk next door for a famous ice slushy. Boulineau's shopping and ACE True Value Hardware are right across the street and two of the best places on the beach to grab a sandwich, full bakery selection, home-cooked meals, groceries, or just hang out at Ace True Value Hardware picking up fishing and tackle supplies, or just wander around shopping.This home is rustic, in a truly awesome location, and has all the amenities of a newer home. We enjoyed our stay as always in Myrtle Beach. The cottage had a great location and the heated pool was awesome once we got it turned on. It was within walking distance of the shops and beach. Beautiful area and everyone is always so friendly. We even got to see dolphins playing in the ocean

We enjoyed a relaxing Family vacation @ our Nixon Cottage. We had a few issues while we were there, but they were resolved quickly with the help of the rental company.

Location was terrific! Pool was the best part of the property. The lack of "flow" from the ground floor to the upstairs living area was the biggest letdown. If you want privacy from the rest of your family, downstairs is the place to stay. The mini split A/C in the bottom left area bedroom kept the room lit up bright all night, so sleeping wasn't the best. Showers were good once you get past the look of it. Very dated. Kitchen area was great. Everything we needed to cook was supplied!! Bolineaus for everything you could possibly want is right across the street!! We brought our small Blackstone for grilling steaks, making bacon & eggs, and even chocolate chip pancakes right by the pool! Great outdoor atmosphere!! If it ever gets updated, we would love to stay here again!! Shabby Chic - Granny's cabin-feel made it cozy for a week!
