Great stay! The house is just a quick walk to the shops, restaurants, and waterfront area of downtown Clayton. House was very clean and with all the amenities our group needed to make a few meals and be comfortable for our stay. Check in/out was seamless. Would definitely book again! One minor note: the wi-fi was a little slow/spotty at times, freezing occasionally while streaming video. Usually when we are on vacation we wouldn’t care that much about being online, but reliable internet was important to our group because we had people in our party who had to take work meetings during our stay. They ended up having to use a mobile hotspot. Not sure there is much to be done about this as it’s probably a service provider issue rather than something the owners have control over, but anyone who needs fast, reliable internet during their stay might find this info helpful.

Home was decorated for Christmas, with two beautiful decorated trees, little decorative details of Christmas mementos. It felt so welcoming for our Christmas stay! The home was beautiful with the cozy warm front porch to watch the snow fall. The dining room table that fit us all for our meals. And comfortable beds to lay our heads after a long day. Perfect location to walk to the water or just read and watch from the front porch.

Wonderful location and charming house. Could use more mugs in the kitchen but that’s my only “complaint”. Enjoyed hanging in the sunroom and walking the lovely town
