Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Things did not start well as the outside patio was a mess and we discovered that the morning storm had blown the patio doors open on the 2nd and 3rd floor causing the respective rugs to get wet. This should have been found before we checked in, but the next morning the rugs were removed and the patio was cleaned up and from there everything was very good. The house is very nice, but the elevator was not working so climbing to the 3rd level was a little challenging for the senior in the group. The pool was virtually across the street which was VERY convenient. This house is located on the south side, so there is still construction going on and some of the amenities the north side has are not yet available. If you are looking for larger homes the south side has a greater variety. Cinnamon Shores is an excellent community which I do recommend, and they handled all of my issues quickly and professionally.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I should have submitted this review right after our trip, but life got busy so I am just now getting around to it. Leading up to the trip, the staff was very helpful. They sent additional pictures of the view from 2 houses we were interested in renting. We had an enjoyable time at Cinnamon Shore as a whole, but the house had several issues while we were there. The outdoor furniture cushions on the 1st floor porch were very dirty, the outdoor fire place did not work, several doors were difficult to lock, the shuffle board table was in bad condition, there was water on the floor in the 3rd floor living room after it rained and the electricity would not work in the 3rd floor living room for half of our stay(which impacted lighting, TV etc in the main area where everybody hung out). We reported all of these issues during our stay. Staff members came twice to check on the issues, but the only issue that was fixed during our stay was one door lock. We know some of these issues are out of anybody’s control, but considering the amount of money we spent to rent the house, it would have been nice for more of the issues to have been checked before we arrived and/or fixed while we were there. We would like to visit Cinnamon Shore again, but we are hesitant to spend the money since we had so many unresolved issues with the house. I know it has probably been too long after our stay to request a partial refund, but it would be nice to receive some other type of compensation like a discount on a future stay.
