Welcome to our newly renovated historic 1-bedroom loft in downtown Roanoke. Part of our Stay Roanoke collection of locally managed stays, this stylish space blends historic charm with modern comfort. Located in the west end of downtown, it features a rooftop patio with views of the Mill Mountain Star and city skyline.
The Space:
416 Campbell avenue is a historic building that was previously used as a legal-aide office. It was renovated by Garland Properties in 2017 and is now home to two 800 Square feet single bedroom apartments and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. The apartments are secure, quiet, fun and decorated in a modern art deco style. The full kitchen and washer and dryer make the unit a wonderful place to stay for a quick getaway or long-term tenant.
Guest Access:
Guests have full access to their unit and roof top patio. Full kitchen and laundry facilities are included with the apartment.
The Neighborhood:
The west end of downtown Roanoke is home to a diverse blend of residential lofts, breweries, office buildings, arts and culture facilities, parks, greenways, and retail storefronts. Currently our neighborhood is undergoing a revitalization with the addition of newly renovated buildings, restaurants, music venues and small businesses.
Getting Around:
It's very easy to get around downtown Roanoke by walking, biking, or driving. The Roanoke city metro bus has a stop just down the road from the apartment. The Amtrak station is located 5 blocks away on Salem avenue.

We loved our stay here. The apartment is very bright and spacious, and all the furniture is comfortable - you will sleep well! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. The access to the building and the unit is very easy, and parking was also simple and convenient as well. The location is close to restaurants downtown - easily walkable - the only reason we didn't walk during our stay was due to it being hotter than hell's front porch outside . Even with the extreme heat outside, the apartment stayed at a comfortable temperature. Lastly, the views from the apartment are beautiful - you can see across the city to the north and Mill Mountain to the south. We look forward to staying here again the next time we visit Roanoke.

This property is great for a quick trip or a long stay. The property was very clean and the description was accurate. The host was very easy to get ahold of and made the check in process really smooth! Having access to the roof top was a cool extra! There is also a really cute book store/café next door!

No-nonsense 1BR apartment near downtown Roanoke with good access to outdoors activities and within striking distance to downtown and other main neighborhoods. The host makes everything easy and worry-free. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay at this loft. The host was very friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our visit. The loft was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a couple looking to stay close to downtown and all the nearby attractions. One of the highlights was the rooftop access, which provided a great space to relax in the evening and was also ideal for entertaining a few friends. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
