À propos de cette location de vacances
Summary:
ST-2019-0168
Welcome to The Marigold, your rustic duplex farmhouse escape in Prince Edward County, only 7-8 minutes from Sandbanks. Rough hewn beams, cozy reading nooks and enough space for the whole family, you'll love getting away from it all and spending time in our beautiful home.
The Space:
Leave the stress of the city behind and wander rural roads bordered by century farms and historic homes, where the only traffic jams are caused by slow-going tractors or scads of sun-seekers heading to Sandbanks. Reconnect with nature by hiking, cycling, canoeing or fishing in and around The County’s 800km of shoreline. Feed your senses with music, theatre and performances set in picturesque vineyards or paired with a pint at the local pub. Get your hands dirty at in-studio art workshops or volunteering at an organic farm and visit a place where local isn’t a movement but a way of life.

What a wonderfully gorgeous house The Marigold is - lots of character without sacrificing comfort, cleanliness and first rate amenities. Bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and the fireplace - loved it! Property management team was great to communicate with and very responsive. (Thank you for bringing the missing HDMI cable!) Each member of our family was glad to have been there and we are happier for having been your guests.

We loved the bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were nicely decorated. The linens in the bedrooms were very nice .We loved all the light in kitchen. The sofa area was very cozy. Where there could be improvement is sound proofing. The wooden slats in bedrooms on second floor you can see through to the main floor. Noise travels and therefore any conversation or tv noise is heard on second floor. Also the driveways were not adequately salted. It was extremely slippery entering the home. It would be nice to have window coverings to provide privacy since this house faces a main road. My sisters and I enjoyed our stay.
