River Rock Cabins offers you the old western town feel with gorgeous views of Mt. Baldy, steps away from the Frio River (Mager's crossing).
2 Bedrooms / 2 Bathrooms
River Rock Cabin #1 and #2 are identical.
* Bedroom #1 - king-size bed (private bathroom).
* Bedroom #2 - queen on queen bunk beds, 1 twin size roll a way bed.
* Full size bathroom off the living area.
* Kitchen stocked with all items needed to cook a meal (no food or spices).
* Dining/living area combined and a dining table to sit 6-8.
* 50″ Roku Smart TV.
* Fiber Optic Wi-Fi available
* Outside you have your own private BBQ pit, firepit and picnic table.
We provide a starter pack of supplies for your stay that includes 1 roll of paper towels, coffee filters, dish soap, hand soap, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, and trash bags in the kitchen and bathrooms (1 each). All beds have linens, comforters, pillows, and mattress pads. 1 towel/1 wash cloth per person will be placed on beds and/or in bathrooms. All beds have comforters, pillows, and mattress pads.
* Cell service is not great; AT&T & T-Mobile seem to be some of the only phone carriers that have service.
* Check-in is at 3:00 pm. The cabin has a keyless entry system to make it easy for your arrival. Checkout is at 11:00 am. You do not need to check in or out at an office. You will receive your arrival instructions with your access code about a week before check-in.
* River access – You can access the river at Magers Crossing, just a short 1–2-minute walk away.

Our family just finished a week stay here and we can’t say enough wonderful things about it!! The kitchen has everything from a blender to a crockpot to a hand mixer. We walked down to Magers Crossing each day and came back to the pool in the evenings. Got the pleasure of meeting the owner Clint (who has now become a great friend of ours). Brittany handles the reservations and was more than helpful with all of our needs. Book with River Rock Cabins you won’t regret it!!!

Room was clean and cool when we arrived. Host was very responsive and helpful!!! Highly recommend if it’s your first time visiting Frio!! Short walk down to the water. Will be booking again!

We enjoyed the relaxing time at River Rock Cabin. The cabin has a very nice layout. This was our first visit and look forward to coming back!

We had a great stay at the cabin. When we arrived the cabin was very clean and the a/c was cold. The beds were comfortable, the shower pressure was great, and it was fully stocked with essential supplies for our stay. We loved how close we were to the pool and the private access to the river. The scenery was beautiful! The only thing we didn’t care for was having to drive 30 minutes to get to a Walmart or any fast food restaurant. I would suggest going to get groceries before your time there, or you will have to driive 30 minutes to get them.The internet was spotty and cell service wasn’t great. But it wasn’t the worst either. I would suggest to bring board games or card games, There were none there. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely book again.
