Lake views from the living room, dining room, and eat-in kitchen on the main floor. The kitchen is fully stocked, or fire up the propane grill right outside. The kitchen table seats 8 and doubles as a poker table, puzzle station, or board game spot.
The game room is where the night usually ends up, full bar, ping pong, foosball, Smart TV, daybed with trundle, and complimentary popcorn.

The cove water at the house is about 3 feet deep. It is not ideal for swimming, but perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding. The main lake is 100 feet away. Trailers cannot park at the house per HOA rules. LBJ Yacht Club is 5 minutes away at $15/night. Horseshoe Bay is right around the corner but we do not have access to their resort amenities.

The home is beautiful, the family really enjoyed the pool. The trash bins were overflowing when we arrived. I contacted the host and the reply was "Bummer" no help. Wasp nest on patio, went and bought some spray as it took so long for someone to bring us one. There was NOT ONE POT HOLDER OR OVEN MITT at all on the premises. We searched high and low. The turntable in the microwave only works if it wants to, making it impossible to cook a bag of popcorn without it just burning. The trash bins were full of old pool noodles, styrofoam, unflatened boxes, air filters and such. We removed all of that into the garage, to be able to put food trash into the containers. But we really enjoyed our time together, just needs a few things to be perfect.

We had a great family reunion / vacation at Lucy On The Lake at Lake LBJ in Texas. Our rented house was just as advertised. Everything was clean. The house is well kept. The neighborhood was quiet.We were able to drive our rented boat right up to the dock.Communication with Sharon, the property manager was easy.This was our first short-term rental and our first weekend at a lake house. We'll be back for more.

Overall the family was ok with this property. But many small issues make for a stressful long weekend vs the expected fun. Home is nice and generally clean. Nice it had two refrigerators. Game room was good for foosball. Ping pong. Dry bar nice except for many sugar ants. Location is good. Close to shops. On the lake but at the end of a canal, Water access is mucky and shallow even though lake was at good water level this 4 July weekend. We could not use the ski lift unit as it was too shallow / silted in. Seawall access is good but concrete with no fender made for scratching of jet ski. The neighboring lot yard sprinkler system water suction is laid on top of sea wall access ladder and makes the ladder hard to use. Cooperation and communication was good but we felt we had to hold back on the larger list if concerns to get key issues addressed soonest. After a while we just stopped sending input. That was AC unit not functioning well upstairs. And no shade at all on pool deck. This was addressed by reprogramming new NEST thermostat and running units constantly. And sending a new home and garden party quality umbrella that did not fit any existing stands (thus it would “fly away/break” easily as advised. AC system has an issue upstairs likely an imbalance and lacking of insulation / etc. owner placard ‘not to cool below 68 degrees or coils will freeze’ is a red flag issue is known but not addressed. Spend was not worth what we got overall.
