Our beautiful home is your woodsy retreat with end-of-the-street privacy. This chalet is ready to provide you with a true "Home Away from Home" while you explore the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The main level has a fully equipped kitchen complete with granite countertops, a gas range, and stainless steel appliances. It opens to a large great room with vaulted ceilings and a beautiful stone fireplace. Two bedrooms, both with queen size beds, and one bathroom with a large tiled walk-in shower plus a half bath complete the first floor. Take the spiral staircase down to another cozy family room with a fireplace, Twin bunk beds, and a toddler bed. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a luxurious bathroom featuring an oversized bath. Enjoy streaming television on smart TVs. There is a multi-level oversized deck. Private Wi-Fi and a washer and dryer are available for you to use. Whether you are skiing, biking, horseback riding, fly-fishing, rafting, hiking, golfing, antiquing, shopping, wine tasting, or cruising the Blue Ridge Parkway, let this be your High Country "Home Away from Home." We are grandparents who visited with six of our grandkids ages 10 to 15. The check-in was easy. The location was wonderful because we were the last home on a dead end street and parking was in front of the house level with the front door. The rooms were lovely. The kitchen very well stocked. Games and ping pong table were a hit. My only concern would be the winding, lighthouse type rod iron steps down to the lower level. We managed them with caution. The attractions,i.e. Wilderness Coaster, Grandfather Mtn. and swinging mile high bridge were less than 10 minutes away. Food Lion and nice restaurants also very close by. This house was perfect for our family weekend get away. It fit my family of 6 with a bunk bed to spare. We were so impressed with the extra's - comfy blankets and bedding, high-end kitchen appliances and cookware, mountain/ski themed decorations, etc. This house really is a step above the average rental!

Property is in a great spot between the grocery store and sugar. Easy access to everything you need. Cabin very spacious and clean.
