The Space:
Welcome to Matapalo 102 at the Diria Resort! This beautiful condo features a spacious terrace, with plenty of outdoor seating. Professionally decorated with all high-end furnishings. This condo is located within the Diria Resort--the only Beachfront Resort in Tamarindo. Within the Diria Resort there are two different common areas, one for condo guests and the second one for hotel guests only. As a guest of the condo, you have access to the 10,000 square foot free-form pool right in front of the condo only, where you can enjoy access to the Tamarindo beach through the Diria Resort property, including access to Diria shops and restaurants. The breakfast buffet is not included in the rate but is available for an additional cost subject to availability.
The rest of the hotel amenities such as towels, Tropicana pool, lounge chairs and gym are only available for hotel guests. We provide pool and beach towels and foldable chairs specifically for your use within the condo area. completely free of charge, ensuring that you have everything you need right in your condo. With over 1500 SF of living area, there is plenty of room for your group to spread out and relax. Spacious living and dining areas. Plasma TV in the family room, cable TV, high-speed WiFi, and central A/C. Both bedrooms are very spacious and have their own private full bathroom. There is a King in the master with a TV and a full bathroom. There are two full-size beds in the guest bedroom as well as a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. Need a travel crib? No problem! Just reach out our concierge team to arrange one. Keep in mind they are subjected to availability and have an additional charge.
The kitchen features custom wood cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. The property has an in-room safe as well as 24-hour security, secure parking, and elevator access. There is a private gas BBQ on the terrace for your personal use.
For greater enjoyment and fun, the property has a new Play station 4 to spend more quality time with family or friends.
As a guest of this property, we also include complimentary amenities such as salt, pepper, cooking oil, shampoo, and soap. The condo is FULLY stocked with other bonus items for your personal use such as beach towels, folding beach chairs, a cooler, and more!!!

Resort Access: To use the resort facilities, each guest aged 12 and older is required to wear a bracelet. A few days prior to arrival, the concierge team will request confirmation of the total number of guests, as well as the full name and a passport photo of each guest. This information allows the team to coordinate the bracelets in advance and have them ready in the condo on the day of arrival.

We usually expect the pictures on the internet to be better than the actual apartment. However, we were constantly telling each other how much better in person the property was compared to the pictures! Our initial reaction when we opened the door to the apartment was "Wow! This is amazing!" It was extremely clean and all the amenities were very modern and up-to-date. We did not rent a car, but after we saw the parking lot, we realized that we could have parked very easily. The location is perfect for a family stay. We walked to all our favorite restaurants and walked right to the beach for our kids to surf every single day. We are definitely coming back and hoping to stay at the Matapalo apartments again. Perfect vacation!

We had a great experience at this condo. Ours was on the ground floor so we could just walk out to hit the pool. The location is great as it is right in the main hub of shops and restaurants. We rented a car and there is parking right outside that was very convenient. The concierge service was great. They helped us with booking surf lessons, a waterfall hike to La Leona which I highly recommend, and a sunset catamaran cruise. All of the activities were top notch.

Diria complex is great. We have stayed here before in slightly nicer units. This unit needs some updating. Sheets were scratchy and pilly, many walls need painting etc. We asked for an extra set of sheets for my son to sleep on the couch and were told extra sheets didn’t come with the rental but they would make an exception (?). Power and water went out multiple times, not the fault of the unit but guests should be prepared.
