We welcome you to the Nordlicht Guest House, nestled in the wilderness of Southern Lapland. It is a cozy, warm, traditional Swedish cabin. A cozy wood-burning stove keeps the cabin warm. Here you’ll find peace and relaxation. The cabin features a kitchen, bathroom, dining room, and bedroom. Right next to it is a kota (barbecue hut) that you’re welcome to use. There is also a large dining table with seating outdoors in front of the cabin. A small table on the terrace is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee. An infrared heat cabin with a view of the forest invites you to relax and unwind. Directly behind the guesthouse, about 30 meters away at the edge of the forest, is a large wood-fired treehouse sauna. It can be used by arrangement. From there, through the large glass windows, you have a fantastic view in the summer of the unique flower meadow or, in the winter, of the snow-covered landscape and the Northern Lights. Fishing is available at the nearby Lake Skäggvattnet, which is teeming with large fish. A rowboat is available at Lake Skäggvattnet. The nearest ski resort, Kittelfjäll, is 50 km away.

The accommodation

A wood-burning stove provides cozy warmth in the cabin.
The bedroom features a comfortable double bed (165x200 cm) and a comfortable bunk bed (90x200 cm). A 40" smart TV is mounted above the double bed in the bedroom. Here you can comfortably watch movies.
The cabin features a bedroom, a bathroom with a shower and heated floors, a
well-equipped kitchen with a microwave, oven, electric stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher, and a cozy living/dining room with a pull-out couch and large closets. There is an infrared heat cabin and a large wood-fired sauna behind the cabin.
In the laundry room, located about 30 meters away in the shed, there are two washing machines and two dryers available for use.

The kota (barbecue hut) in front of the cabin is available for use. From there, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Northern Lights, even in the bitter cold.

In winter, you can drive about 50 km to Kittelfjäll for downhill skiing,
and there are also many cross-country ski trails in the area. Lapland’s breathtaking winter landscape invites you to enjoy long snowshoe hikes and walks. Ice fishing is available at the nearby Lake Skäggvattnet. With a little luck, you can watch the Northern Lights right in front of the cabin by the campfire. There’s also a snowmobile rental in the area, making an extended tour on the nearby snowmobile trails an unforgettable experience. Dog-sled tours are also available in the region.

In summer and fall, the area is full of color and long days.
You can go mountain biking and take beautiful hikes in the mountains, go fishing, pick mushrooms and berries, and build a campfire and barbecue at the fire pit in front of the cabin.

Parking spaces are available in front of the cabin. The carport is available for use.
A washing area with running water for cleaning fish is located behind the shed.
Snowshoe rental available by arrangement.
A fenced-in dog run with a doghouse is located behind the cabin.
The farm has a spacious, vacant kennel facility that can accommodate up to 30 sled dogs. The kennel facility can be rented by arrangement for housing sled dogs.

Guests are responsible for cleaning the cabin themselves upon departure,
Guests must bring their own bed linens and towels,
(A package for 200Kr/Person, containing bed linens and two towels is available for rent)
Pets are allowed but are not permitted on chairs, beds, or blankets.
