The accommodations are located just 50 meters from the entrance to the Village Mare Pineta resort in Duino Aurisina. The resort offers a breathtaking view of the magnificent Bay of Sistiana, in a unique panoramic location on the Gulf of Trieste. You can take advantage of all the amenities offered by this resort. The apartments are nestled within the beautiful nature park. The beach is just a 5-minute drive away and can be reached either by car or via the resort’s free shuttle (available only during high season). The resort’s spacious swimming pool features a semi-Olympic-sized pool, a children’s pool, and fun water features. There are several lounge chairs available by the pool, while in the sunbathing area—which offers a magnificent view of the beach, Sistiana Bay, and the Gulf of Trieste—you can rent umbrellas and lounge chairs. At the Rilke Bar & Restaurant, you can treat yourself to delicious regional dishes while admiring the wonderful view of the Gulf of Trieste. For sports enthusiasts, there are tennis and table tennis courts, a fitness area, great hiking trails with panoramic views, and a diving school by the sea (for a fee). The spacious Pineta apartment has an area of approximately 85 square meters, is located on the 1st floor, and can accommodate 6 people. It features a bedroom with a double bed and another room with two single beds. The sofa bed in the open-concept living and dining area provides two additional sleeping spots. The living room also includes a table, chairs, and a TV. The comfortably equipped kitchen features a 4-burner gas stove, dishes, silverware, pots, pans, a dishwasher, a multifunction oven, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. There are two bathrooms; one is directly connected to the master bedroom (double bedroom) and features a shower, toilet, and sink. The second bathroom has a shower, toilet, bidet, and sink. Also included are a washing machine, heating, and air conditioning. There is also a balcony that’s perfect for relaxing.
ARRIVAL DATE + LENGTH OF STAY
Please refer to the calendar for the arrival and departure dates as well as the minimum length of stay during your desired season. Note: If, for any reason, you are unable to arrive on the scheduled arrival date, check-in on the following day is of course possible (please notify us before arrival). The same applies if you wish to depart early; in this case, departure on the previous day is also possible. However, the rental period and price specified at the time of booking remain unchanged.
BEACH
The beach is about a 5-minute drive from the resort. The resort offers a free shuttle service during peak season. You can either use the public beach or rent lounge chairs and umbrellas; there is also a bar on site.
POOL
The swimming pool at the affiliated Camping Village features a semi-Olympic-sized pool, a children’s pool, and fun water games. There are a few lounge chairs available by the pool, while in the sunbathing area—which offers a magnificent view of the beach, Sistiana Bay, and the Gulf of Trieste—you can rent umbrellas and lounge chairs.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY
A baby crib can be provided upon request and for a fee. The maximum occupancy may not be exceeded, even with an infant (maximum 6 people). During the summer months, an entertainment program for all ages is offered.
LEISURE AND SPORTS

The area surrounding the accommodations are truly one-of-a-kind and is known as the Trieste Karst. The rolling hills give way to a breathtaking coastal landscape. Thanks to this diversity, the area offers countless opportunities for recreational activities. Right in front of the campground, the famous Rilke Trail leads to the beautiful Duino Castle, which is definitely worth a visit. The masonry and the rooms are well-preserved, and the terrace offers a unique view of the sea. The Grotta Gigante, right next door, is one of the largest tourist caves in the world and well worth a visit. The city of Trieste is just a few kilometers from the resort and, with its beautiful old town, is a cultural and gastronomic destination for tourists. Sights include: Miramare Castle, the famous Barcola recreational area in Trieste—which gave its name to the famous sailing regatta—and the famous Piazza dell’Unità d’Italia, surrounded by elegant and historic coffeehouses.
