Get the "Best of Both Worlds" with this charming lakefront cottage on a quiet circle in Dennisport, Mid - Cape Cod. You have waterfront access right outside your back door with gorgeous views of Swan Pond. Spend time on the lake or visit Sea Street and Glendon beach 1.5 miles down the street. Swan Pond is about 1.5 miles long and connects to Swan River - which connects to the beaches and the ocean on Nantucket Sound. Fish, kayak, canoe, sail, windsurf or just relax on this very beautiful lake, it’s up to you! The cottage has a new deck, paved patio and a private back yard that is spacious enough to entertain or just relax while watching the gorgeous views and wildlife. Swan Pond is known for its great fishing and canoeing. This pond has no public access for motorboats, so it’s very quiet. The cottage has 3/4 bedrooms, (NEW), Loft - with 2 single beds, one bath, outdoor shower and can sleep up to 8. It’s newly refinished with NEW floors and comes with a canoe, 4 kayaks, (NEW) 6-person aluminum rowboat, microwave, WIFI, Roku Streaming, washing machine, dryer, kitchen supplies and a NEW Weber propane grill. It’s a great way to enjoy the Cape Cod lifestyle. The cottage is conveniently located to the beaches, bike trails, and restaurants (Chapins, downtown, Sunday School, etc.). You can even walk to Clancy’s Restaurant.

Stunning lake views/access/seating in a quiet neighborhood. Great access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail and Sea St beach. We had all the amenities we needed for 6 adults and a baby to enjoy. The washer and dryer were a great plus. Overall a great stay on the mid Cape!

What a great place to stay! Everything was as portrayed in the photos—right down to the blue crab napkin holder. : ) Loved all the outdoor seating options, and the kayaks for paddling around the pond were so fun. And there really were swans—a whole family! We also enjoyed the mid-Cape location; less than five minutes to a good beach, and only about 30 minutes to a "big" beach (Nauset). Would definitely stay here again, and have already recommended it to family and friends. The *only* suggestion I have is to maybe install a clothesline somewhere outside (or in the basement?) to hang wet bathing suits, etc., on.

We loved the location on Swan Pond and used the kayaks most days. The deck and backyard offered every kind of dining and relaxing place to fit the time of day or desire to be near the house or the water. The house was clean with newly renovated bedrooms downstairs and the shower was great. The main downside is the kitchen which is cramped, lacks a stove hood and toaster, and has just too much stuff packed into every cabinet. Also, I’d suggest fixing the deck sliding door which didn’t work very well, and please provide switched light near the entry which was pitch dark upon coming in at night. Overall a good pace to stay and thanks to the owner for answering every question very quickly.

The hosts were great! The house was clean and cute a perfect cape cod escape! And the location was perfect and the views especially in the morning were great!
