On Rømø you can not only watch, but also participate, when on the first weekend in September about 50,000 guests from all over the world meet for the kite festival and fly their shining kites. You also can't miss the Black Sun, when flocks of starlings darken the evening sky before retiring to the reed forest of the marsh, and especially the incredible nature in the Wadden Sea, UNESCO World Heritage Site.
