If you’d like to get out and about, there’s plenty to do in the surrounding area. You can take a beautiful walk along the water or through the vast Yerseke Moer nature reserve. Or rent a bike or scooter from a local and take a ride along the coastal dikes, past blooming fruit orchards and through one of the oldest polder landscapes in the Netherlands: the Zak van Zuid-Beveland. A visit to the Oosterschelde Museum, where you can learn more about Yerseke as a mussel-fishing village, is also well worth your time.
