The pitched ceiling upstairs was a bit of of issue . We are 6 feet plus some, so it made it a bit frustrating to have to walk and get around bent over or otherwise you would and we did hit our heads constantly. Unfortunately, I don’t think we would’ve rented it if we would’ve known that the ceilings limited your mobility, and limited your mobility. However the property overall was lovely.

The house was wonderful.

The house was in a great location. It was clean and the owners were communicative. However, the stairs leading to the two bedrooms upstairs are treacherous. I would say that if you have older people in your party and plan to use every room, this could be a big issue for you. I had to stay in the upstairs bedroom and I can attest first hand, it is a problem. The stairs are most certainly not to code. It's nearly impossible to haul luggage up the stairs. And one additional, somewhat minor complaint, the bathroom shower in that upstairs loft doesn't have anywhere to put shampoo or soap other than the floor.
