Kellenhusen can be easily reached via the A1 motorway Lübeck/Puttgarden, motorway exits Grömitz or Lensahn. It is located about 50 minutes by car from Lübeck, 70 minutes from Kiel and 90 minutes from Hamburg.
The family-friendly Baltic Sea resort is located in the Bay of Lübeck in a tranquil coastal landscape between the Baltic Sea and a large forest area surrounded by meadows, pastures and forests.
