In the heart of the historic center, this apartment offers all the comforts of a modern home, located between Palazzo Spinola and Palazzo della Meridiana. Just a few meters from the city's most beautiful museums and a few minutes’ walk from the main tourist attractions. About 200 meters from the old port and the aquarium. Only here can you experience the true life of the Genoese alleys.
La Piccionaia is located on the top floor of a historic building, immersed in narrow alleyways that tell centuries of history. In the heart of the historic center, this is true for all buildings, and La Piccionaia is no exception: the buildings climb towards the sky without elevators, only ancient silent stairs that, step by step, will lead you to a corner of beauty.
The small effort of the climb will be richly rewarded with unique brightness, peaceful views, and an intimate atmosphere, away from the noise of the street. A true refuge of peace.
If you are looking for the authentic soul of Genoa, we await you “up high,” where the light lives and the city reveals itself in its truest form.
The rooftop terrace, a rare treasure among the caruggi, will offer you a breathtaking view of the nearby Basilica of San Siro and the city’s rooftops: an open space where you can sip a coffee in the morning, read in the sun, or, enjoying a glass of fine wine, relish the sunset that sets the city ablaze with a thousand shades.
Bright, silent, and immersed in the timeless atmosphere of the old city, La Piccionaia will be the ideal starting point to discover Genoa from above... with your heart close to its truest soul.

This apartment exceeded all our expectations. It was very well equipped and prepared for us by our friendly host Andrea, who had prepared it all with great care and love. The most special about the property, is the roof terrace, a quiet oasis in the middle of Old Town. We were close to everything, but also by ourselves when we wished for it. Highly recommended!
