You can feel the serenity from the very first moment you arrive at Olvini Villa!
Olvini Villa is built in a plot of 2000m2 with a lush garden, olive trees and a 45m2 heated swimming pool for adults and a 5m2 for kids. The villa is 230m2, split into three floors.
Entering the villa from the main entrance on the first floor, you will find a large living room, a dining room, a full equipped kitchen, a WC and a large terrace balcony with an unobstructed view to the pool and the White Mountains.
At the second floor looking at the 4 horizons, there are three cozy bedrooms, two with king size bed and a family room with two bunk beds. All bedrooms have their own open plan en-suite bathroom.
Next to the pool on the ground floor you will find an other stylish living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a bathroom and 2 comfortable bedrooms, one with double bed and access to the pool and the other one with two single beds which can be converted in one large double bed. The patio door from the living room leads to a large pool terrace with a built-in BBQ.
Most of the interior furniture and furnishings are hand-made by Cretan craftsmen, this special interior decoration combined with all the modern comforts of a luxury holiday home, offers a quality and high-end accommodation to our guests. Τhe carefully designed gardens and the sea blue heated pool, fit perfectly with the surroundings and give a sense of harmony.
Olvini Villa has a big gate with a sloping driveway and a large free space in front of the Villa to park your car hires.
Galatas village is in a particularly advantageous location in the wider area of Chania as it is very close to the city center, to the old Venetian harbor and to the most famous sandy beaches. The nearest beach (Golden beach) is 2 kilometers far from the villa. Very close to the neighborhood you can find taverns, shops and services (tourist police, etc.), covering all your daily needs. Also, the location is ideal for anyone wishing to explore the island as it is a few minutes away from the highway which leads to well-known beaches such as Ballos, Elafonisi, Falassarna, as well as the Samaria Gorge and other cities of Crete (Rethymnon, Heraklion, Agios Nikolaos).

We had an amazing family holiday at Villa Olvini. The property itself is really amazing with a fantastic pool (really good depth and good temp without needing to be heated, although this can be done if you want). There's a stunning view from the property to the surrounding hills as well which adds to the experience. Location wise it's about 30 minutes walk to the local supermarket so not too bad and Chania itself is amazing with an amazing harbour that's worth seeing. What really made the trip though was the help and correspondence from the host Anastasia, she was always available via WhatsApp to answer queries and give reccomendations. Before travelling she also assisted in organising transfers to and from the airport to the property and when we decided to hire a car for a few days while we were there she was able to help with that as well. A 10/10 holiday, can't reccomend highly enough.

I consider us very fortunate to have selected Villa Olvini. You never know beforehand and we were very, very lucky. The villa is first class. It is spotlessly clean and the fitout is modern and beautiful. Everything you could wish for and all constructed to the highest standards and designed for guest ease and comfort. So with the infrastructure set, the thing that puts it over the top is kostas. She included information that we used extensively and were not disappointed in the beaches or restaurants. We were greeted with an openness and generosity that is rare. She had wine and snacks etc. and went over the top for my birthday. And even more...we needed some help with a rental car, taxi, transfers etc. All was handled easily and discretely.
I've been using AirBnB, Homeaway, and VRBO for over 8 years. I believe this is the best experience I've had so far. Beautiful place and when we needed help, we got it right away. Otherwise we enjoyed ourselves in and about Chania. Did I mention the pool....;-) Go and enjoy.
