The Dezie Manor Orangerie has been lovingly restored with a high degree of attention to detail and striving to respect local traditions, crafts and materials all while adding the comfort and necessities you would come to expect of a modern house: walk in marble finished showers, fully fitted kitchen, heated pool and covered terrace next to the pool, a large garden perfectly kept by your gardener.
The Orangerie really is grand, airy and spacious, with exceptional open plan living areas featuring lovely stone features and openings. True to how houses were built centuries ago there is a cloister terrace, beautiful gothic style openings and surrounded by a beautiful private park. The heated pool is slightly detached from the main house, surrounded by a wooden deck and enclosed by beautiful lime stone walls.
Inside the Orangerie has an open space area with kitchen, dinning area, living room with a large 4k tv with an Apple TV. There is one en-suite upstairs, two downstairs and another en-suite beside the main entrance in it’s own room with a cathedral ceiling.
The Orangerie is part of the Dezie Manor estate and has no vis-avis with the other two villas that are on the property. Each house has total privacy.

We had a wonderful week with our grown-up children at the Orangerie. The pool area was fabulous for relaxing for both those who like the sun and those who like the shade. The pool was a welcome essential to cool down from the heat of the day.We loved the outdoor eating area and spent our evenings playing card games and enjoying the cool peaceful evenings. It worked well for us with all the rooms having their own en-suite bathroom and shower.We enjoyed the peace and beauty of this place. Our host was always quick to reply to messages and we loved our complimentary pizza evening!

We were very much looking forward to our stay at orangerie Dezie Manor, given the beautiful pictures. Even then, it was beyond expectations. An accommodation with a lot of space and comfort, a fantastic view, a private swimming pool, a great BBQ and much more. We left the house as little as possible. And Grant is a great host. The only thing he could not provide was the mare giving birth before we left. But we hope to be back! Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Dezie Manor in the Cottage. The house is stunning and the host Grant is extremely attentive and helpful whilst unobtrusive. The house is very well equipped and the air conditioning was extremely welcome as we had temperatures of 40 degrees. Pool was an absolute dream and cleaned daily and our six year old loved the football table and games cabinet. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay here. Very clean and well located for access to local amenities, both of historic interest and also activities for children. We visited Sarlat, the steam train in Martel, Le Bugue, a water park (15 mins away - best for younger children) and went canoeing between Campagne and Lemeuil along the Vezere.

Check in and communication was fantastic and very easy. Grant (the host) was super friendly and brought us much appreciated pizzas on the first night. Facilities were really good, with the games room being an added bonus to keep all amused in the evenings. Plenty of outside space for games and lovely shady areas. Great pool area and covered seating area, though a parasol would have been much appreciated for peak sun when on the sunbeds.Lots to explore in the area with highlights being the old towns areas of Bergerac and Perigeaux, Rouffignac Cave and the gorgeous hilltop village of Issigeac.
