Another great vacation in this beautiful home, it’s our third stay here. Love a week on Lake Santeetlah in the summer, this home makes it even better. It has everything we need (clean beds, clean bathrooms and a well stocked kitchen) and there is plenty of room for our family. It’s a great home base for boating on the lake or exploring the beautiful mountain terrain. We would stay longer and more often if we could.

Our family has stayed here 2 years in a row and already plan to return next year! The house has so much space!! We enjoyed playing cards and board games at the kitchen table. The teenagers enjoyed eating at the picnic table on the back deck when they wanted to be away from the adults. You go down the interior stairs to the game room on the bottom floor, open the French doors and BOOM, there is the dock! It is in a quiet cove with very little vehicle or boat traffic. We have loved using the large lily pad float(s) and at least part of the dock is shaded from around 1 or 2 pm, which is perfect for the family members who don't want to be in the water but still want to be included. Many, many fishing lines have been cast but no one has been successful yet! There is always next year. This year we rented a pontoon through Smokey Mountain Boat Rentals on the last day and had a blast slinging the teenagers in a tube! They bring the boat to your dock one evening and it is yours for 24 hours, when they come pick it up! No tow hitch required!! I cannot recommend this home enough. Lucy quickly responded anytime I reached out to her. If you are looking for a place to slow down and enjoy time with your people, while taking in the beauty of the lake and mountains... look no further!

This is the third year our family has stayed here for our annual family reunion. The house is spacious, nicely furnished, and very clean. We’ve already made our reservation for next year!
