Foxglove Cottage is a lovely characterful property which is very attractively furnished throughout. We were a party of four, three sisters and a sister in law and the space was perfect for us with a generous kitchen/diner, good sized lounge with a 3 seater, 2 seater and armchair plus an additional area to sit in. Upstairs two generous bedrooms, one of them with an suite, and a twin bedded room next to the family bathroom. As we were there during a heatwave, the owner had kindly left us two large fans. We made use of the courtyard garden once the heat of the day had gone off it and it was a welcome addition to the house. We had two cars with us and parked one on the very quiet road in front of the house and the other just round the corner. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage. Lovely bedding, comfy beds and beautifully clean throughout. We can recommend The Butchers Arms within walking distance from the cottage for an evening meal.

Really loved the property, lovely village near to lots of places to see, unfortunately clearwell caves were closed and the local pub was closed until the day after we left for a holiday which was a shame as we particularly wanted somewhere we’d could walk to with the kids for a pint and some food. The bonus was that the local park was right next door which my granddaughter was very happy about
