Welcome to beautiful Playa del Carmen! Located on the third floor of the beautiful El Faro condo complex, this is a comfy and contemporary vacation rental. Featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with space for 6 guests, our place is perfect for couples, families, friend groups, or business travelers. Enjoy a tropical getaway surrounded by ocean air, palm trees, and so much more.

Our beautiful property is located in the heart of Playa del Carmen, with amazing amenities and ocean views that are second to none. Be greeted by a contemporary design as you enter the unit, featuring beautiful marble floors, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and so much more. Cleaning service is included in your stay, and bathrooms are outfitted with towels and toiletries for your arrival.

-Please note that during September and October 2026, maintenance work will be performed on the pool. The water level will be approximately 50 cm lower than normal, but the pool will remain open and available for guest use. Sections of the pool may be temporarily closed as work progresses, with different areas opening and closing throughout the project.
- Please be aware that seaweed is a natural phenomenon that hits Quintana Roo beaches, especially during the summer months (Apr-Oct). While the local team at El Faro and the municipality make every effort to clean up the seaweed, it can still impact beach conditions and your ability to enjoy the ocean. As it decomposes, it may also produce strong odors. Please make yourself aware of the current state of the seaweed, as we cannot offer refunds for any issues related to seaweed.
- The central location of this property gives you access to the best that downtown Playa del Carmen has to offer. Due to our location next to restaurants and bars, you may experience some noise at this location. We do not offer refunds for noise issues. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy your stay!
- The beach in front of El Faro will come and go seasonally, at times the ocean comes all the way up to the deck and the common area administration will block this area for security purposes. Please exercise caution and comply with any common area association rules.
- Your booking automatically includes a damage protection policy. Should any minor accidental damages occur during your stay, we will cover you up to $1,000. We understand accidents happen, so we've got your back! However, if we determine damage was willful or negligent, we will charge an additional cost based on the damage itself.
- We have a no-tolerance rule about parties and loud noise, so please be aware that complaints from neighbors, notifications from authorities, notifications from our noise monitoring software, or any other proof of disruptive behavior or loud noise between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM will result in fines of up to $1000.00, possible eviction and / or possible legal action if authorities are involved.
-The beach condition changes every day, weather and hurricanes tend to affect how wide the sand area is in our photos- sometimes the water reaches up to the deck.
- Please note that due to El Faro's security protocols, before your arrival, we will request a photo of each guest's ID that will be at the property during your stay.

This was a very nice 2 bed/bath apartment. Easy for our family of 3, including a 17y. The room was spacious and comfortable. The balcony was also spacious and comfortable with a nice view. The water cooler was a nice addition as well. The apartment complex was easy to navigate and quiet. The property is very close to all the hustle and bustle of the city as well. The management company that handled the rental communicated very effectively and helped make things smooth. The local staff was helpful and friendly. Overall, a great place to stay with your family!

The condo is well-maintained. The air conditioning works well, the kitchen is well outfitted, and all ammenities are as advertised. A highlight of the property is its large forever pool, which is clean, well-maintained, and kept to a good temperature. I found a 45-yard length (nearly olympic-size) for my daily swims.The condo is in a complex of three buildings that sit on the water near the main Playa del Carmen commerce district. Unfortunately, the condo lies on a part of the beach that is nearly completely eroded away. At times, it is impossible to pass through the beach at and around the condo area because there just isn't any beach left.The condo also lies in an area of "sargassum" (brown microalgae) control. A front-end loader hauls the aargussum off the beach and loads it into dump trucks right in front of the condo building. The "beep-beep-beep" noise of the front-end loader backing up and the hum of construction vehicles were frequent during our stay, as was the foul smell (a combination of sulfur and sea) of the sargussum.The poor beach environmnet and smell of sargussum marred what is otherwise a beautiful property. If you come to the area between May and October ("sargussum season"), be prepared for this. A good escape is the west coast of Cozumel, which is proected from this nuisance. Our time on Cozumel ended up being the highlight of this trip. Also be prepared for high heat and humidity. We prefer the west coast of Mexico, which is cooler and drier.
