Kukljica is a fishing and vacation town on the island of Ugljan, across from the historic city of Zadar. Kukljica has 5 restaurants, a daily market, 3 shops, a marina, children’s playgrounds, several beaches, and beautiful coves.
Cukrov dvor is a 150-year-old stone house with a modern touch. It meets all modern needs. The house has two separate apartments: the Green Apartment and the Orange Apartment.
On the first floor, the Orange Apartment features two bedrooms—a larger one with a double bed and a smaller one with a bunk bed—a living room with a pull-out sofa and a smart TV (HBO), a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, and a bathroom. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning.
A private parking space is available for each apartment in the garden. A shared laundry room is located in the courtyard.
The house is located in the immediate vicinity of the town center and the sea (approx. 150 m).
In the garden, shaded by olive trees, there is a swimming pool (approx. 55 m², heated water, chlorine produced by electrolysis, waterfall, massage jets, and lighting). There is a barbecue area in the garden.
The city of Zadar can be reached by public transportation in about 45 minutes. Three national parks are located nearby (Kornati, Krka Waterfalls, and Paklenica). Kornati National Park is accessible from Kukljica by tourist boat.

An absolutely wonderful place to stay in Kuklijica, Uglj an. Such a calm, beautiful environment to relax, but less than a minute away from the harbour with its shops and restaurants. Our favourite place was the smaller harbour just a little further around the coast (U.Gnjojisca) there was a little beach, diving board or concrete pier to dive off into the beautiful green water. Fantastic snorkeling - thousands of small fish glinting in the sunlight, just magic! And a very quiet area away from the crowds.
As other visitors have commented, Svijetlana is a natural hostess, who made us feel welcome and relaxed from day 1.
I particularly appreciated her attitude towards equipping the rental apartments - making sure that everything was high quality and as good as she would buy for her own use. So we had a fantastic coffee machine that ground fresh beans with a milk frother - luxury!!
The cherry on the cake was the bicycles that were available for us to use - we loved getting up early to go and explore.

We had a fantastic stay and enjoyed every minute. The apartment offered all we need and even more - fresh fruits, cold drinks, comfy beds. The garden is beautiful, the pool big and the kids had great fun overall. Also our dog enjoyed the stay. Thanks for being such great, easy-going hosts and making us feel home. We will come back for sure.
