“Plane Retreat” is a most delightful 4BR lakefront cottage located in the picturesque neighborhood of Laurel Grove at the Resort. With sunny family areas, private niches, and charm galore, this is the perfect home for a relaxing vacation. Sit awhile on the back porch daybed overlooking the lake; or unwind on the southern style front porch. This charming residence will take you away from it all!
Laurel Grove is designed with families in mind. Located at the Resort, Laurel Grove is within a few minutes golf cart ride to the beach. There is a Clubhouse within short walking distance that features a tropical swimming pool, hot tub, fitness room, and outdoor grills. Catch and release fishing is permitted in the lakes and ponds at Laurel Grove. Miles of walking trails, golf courses, tennis, boating, restaurants, boutique shopping, movie theaters, and the sugar white beach are just a few amenities of the Resort. You will enjoy spinning all over the resort by golf cart and take a quick ride to the beach. “Plane Retreat” provides guests with two golf carts.
The first floor of our two story home features the main living and dining areas, a powder bath, and a large master bedroom suite with a king bed and a private master bath. The second floor offers an additional master suite with a king bed and a private bath. A third guest bedroom is furnished with king bed and provides access to a “closet bedroom” with a twin bed. A fourth guest bedroom is designed with two twin beds, and offers access to an additional “closet bedroom” with a twin bed. There is a hallway bathroom to service nearby guest bedrooms. All of the bedrooms and closet sleeping spaces are furnished with smart HDTV’s. For your convenience, there is a stackable washer and dryer, and wifi is complimentary. Only one car may park at the home and street parking is not permitted by the HOA. We will give pay-to -park option since the resort does not provide overflow parking if necessary.

Reservations cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. The house was perfect for our family trip. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean and felt like home. The golf carts were so convenient for getting around. The area was beautiful for morning and evening strolls. Walking out the back door to your own little oasis near the water was extremely relaxing. We even caught some fish while out there. I would recommend this home to friends and family.

We always love staying in Laurel Grove at Sandestin! It is the perfect vacation area! This Home was very comfortable and allowed us all to be able to spread out and enjoy our time together. The chairs in the living room are different than the ones pictured. So they weren’t as comfortable to lounge on. Also the outside furniture could’ve used a good power washing. The golf carts are so convenient, however, they are older and do not turn very well. But did the trick to get us back-and-forth to the beach in around Sandestin. We would consider staying here again in the future as our family continues to grow. If you are looking for a large house to accommodate a lot of people this one would be it.

Upon arrival, there were feces on downstairs main bath toilet and hair all over the place. One side of the bed did not have a box spring so there was a large piece of plywood under the top mattress making bed not very comfortable. Golf carts have been very used and was zip tied in different spots to hold it together. We ended up finding the stock pile of zip ties in the kitchen pantry. I hope they don’t charge each customer for “repairs” on them. They are truly rigged to look like there are no issues, but I promise they are. My husband took pics and videos of everything and sent it to the host. The host was very friendly, but for what we paid to stay there we expected an offer of some sort of refund at the minimum and from my understanding nothing like that was ever offered. We have stayed in the Ravens Run area for 16 years straight now and never had an issue. You can tell the houses are starting to age out. I say either upgrade or lower your prices. I understand nothing is perfect, but these are all thing that are very noticeable upon arrival.
