We really enjoyed our stay and have nothing but good things to say about the host. The house was centrally located which reduced travel time to all events. The house itself was really nice, clean and very comfortable; however, the deck was not inviting or clean. For me this prevented a 5 star. The outer deck was covered with pine cones and needles, that I cleaned up. The enclosed area had a dirty ashtray sitting on the table and vines are tearing up the screens allowing for mosquitoes to get in. The couch on the deck had a very unappealing cushion. Ultimately it was the enclosed deck overlooking the water that lured us to place but we ended up not using as much because it just wasn’t comfortable. One item of note the drive way is very hidden. I would recommend a newer brighter mailbox with number clearly visible since we drove past the driveway a couple of times.

I want everyone to know, this place was the very best I've ever stayed in. If you want privacy, seclusion and still be close to everything... This is the place. The home is clean, private and spacious. Perfect! I enjoyed sitting on the screened in back porch and watching the ripples floating towards shore. At night the moon rises over the lake and is breathtaking to view. While watching the ducks and turtles and the fish jumping. Most peaceful and private place ever. Hosts were super amazing. I feel in love with this place as soon as I walked in. I am gonna have to stay there again. Preferably longer next time. When I got there I was stressed but it melted away soon after arriving. If you're disabled this place has 2 bedrooms and both beds are adjustable. Very helpful with disabled. Home is not cluttered. And I have never seen a bigger shower. It must've been 12 feet long and about 5 feet wide. It has 3 shower heads in the shower. There's even a seat in the shower if needed. Anyone who is looking for something private and wants to unwind from all the stress of life, this is the place you want to enjoy. Well worth the trip to stay here. And Texas Roadhouse is only a couple miles away. You won't regret this place and you don't wanna miss out on it either.

Very cozy place would definitely recommend

Although this house is located within easy distance to the base and town, there are a few things that need to be addressed. The normal kitchen provisions are seriously sparse, the silverware drawer is littered with debris and random takeout sauces strewn around, there are few dishes and the dishwasher doesn’t work. The bathroom walls have some mold on them and the exhaust fan doesn’t work and looks like it was installed by a finger painter! The dock is unsafe so fishing in the lake is not possible. The railing from the screened in porch down is unsafe. I would hate to hear of anyone falling down the stairs. The beds are comfortable and the linens clean. The couch is comfortable but unfortunately we could not figure out the TV’s login. The view of the lake was calming and relaxing after long days at graduation.
