Set in heart of the Touraine countryside, the two bedroom accommodation forms part of a recently modernised longere. It retains many of the original features such as the tiled floors but is fully modernised and equipped .
Surrounded by farm land, it is an ideal location for exploring the Chateaux and vineyards of the Loire, the natural beauty of the Brenne area or simply enjoying the many local walking trails through fields and woodland. The local markets, including Loches (Wednesday and Saturday) and Amboise (Friday and Sunday), provide the opportunity to sample the local specialities and there are many excellent restaurants in easy reach.
The living room is a comfortable place to relax in any season. For the winter months, there is a log burner. There is a Smart TV so you can access your preferred streaming service as well as French TV channels, as well as a DVD player (DVDs available) and a music center. A selection of games and puzzles is also available. The kitchen / diner is fully equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities. There is access to a washing machine in an adjacent area. There is a wood burning stove for the winter months that provides cooking facilities as well as central heating.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and a single bed and the other with a double bed and a single beds. An additional single bed can be provided in this room upon request.
There are two bathrooms, one on each floor, with shower and toilet. The house is not fully equipped for disabled visitors, but for people with reduced mobility there is a sofa bed in the living room and easy access to the bathroom downstairs.
Outside there is parking, table and chairs and a BBQ. The garden is south facing and benefits from the sun until late evening.
All bedding and towels are provided as well as essentials such as soaps.
There is a second property adjacent to this one with its own garden and there is a shared laundry room between the 2 properties.
We live near the property and are available for any questions you may have during your stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely home in Val de Loire. The house stayed cool despite the July heat, and the fenced garden was perfect for our two dogs. Janet has thought of everything, making it a peaceful and comfortable retreat. We can't wait to return!

We had an amazing time at the house. The facility's are fabulous, eith everything you would need for a short or long stay. Janet and Chris have thought if everything. The place was super clean and we really appreciated the the shampoo and shower gel provided. I really recommend this place and would definitely return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Excellent communication from the start and with the owners available but providing privacy. A very spacious and comfortable accomodation with lots of attention to detail. A great location for the surrounding Loire area set in a rural location with lovely walking from your front door. Two nights not enough. Thank you.
