Take the kayaks or bring your boat! The Withlacoochee River heads straight into the Gulf with plenty of fishing, scallops, and manatees! Lovely house that had everything provided that we could have needed and more! We were able to spend the day kayaking (provided) or out and about at nearby springs. We even went scalloping nearby and came back and cooked a delicious dinner. In the evening, we would go to bird creek and watch dolphins and otters swim, or sit on the screened in patio and watch the evening thunderstorms. The canal in the backyard was great for fishing and feeding all the turtles. Highly recommend for a fun, relaxing vacation.

Pet friendly, water front and dock for my boat, great river ride out to the gulf, manatees in the water , wildlife on the river was nice to see,

A great place to stay. Laid back and relaxing with fun local wildlife around. The screened in back porch was by far the favored place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. The house is also a short distance to many different areas that have family fun, like beaches, manatee swimming, devil's den pool, and more. Highly recommend if you are looking to escape into a natural setting while still having access to activities. Already wanting to go back!
