This is a hidden gem in Locarno. The apartment is large, stocked well, has a great balcony, parking, is close to everything, and the best part is the host. She is truly caring about your stay and comfort. She gave us a yummy gift of homemade jam and went out of her way to help us with our laundry. She only speaks Italian and we did our best with "Google Translate" to communicate. Yet this is a place were you really feel like part of the family : )

The outside of this property needs some TLC, but once inside it is very clean and cozy. There is a nice balcony, and lots of supplies for cooking. The only downsides we encountered was little toilet paper with no spare rolls, no instructions for the internet, which took hours to figure out that in a drawer there is a hotspot that needs to charge up. This should be clearly written in German & English to make things simple. Hard to contact the host on the phone...we tried a couple times. Host on the internet may take a day or two to reach and she mostly communicates in Swiss German so best if you speak Swiss German or be patient or know Google or have a translator to help you. Best to have a car in this area as it is quite remote. She has parking.
The area is really great! Beautiful nature all around with little goats and sheep who greet you that live down the street. A great bakery near by and a special spring fed pond for health is up the hill from the house with walking trails everywhere. Stay here and enjoy the fresh air and tasty water. A real Swiss getaway!

Die Möbel sind teilweise schon was älter, aber alles vorhanden. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, die Vermieterin sehr freundlich. Allerdings spricht sie nur italienisch.

Nahe von Bahn- und Busstation gelegen, ist dies ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Locarno, Maggia- und Onsernonetal sowie das Centovalli.
