The Galaxy Express Nahama is located on a beautiful Nahama beach in Miura Peninsula, only 50km south of central Tokyo. The each caravans are small but cozy with a splendid view of the Pacific Ocean. There is a tent sauna, a jacuzzi and a BBQ grill. Max.11 people can stay at a time.

This place can be very windy during typhoon season and windy spring season. Because the trailer is as heavy as 3t and is tied down securely to the ground it is reasonably safe. However you may find the room shakes or vibrates in such weather condition.
This place can be a very strong wind.Winds are especially strong during typhoons and the first season of spring.The trailer itself has a weight of nearly 3 tons and is securely fixed to the ground with wire ropes, but the room may shake or vibrate.
EARTHQUAKE and TSUNAMI Earthquake and Tsunami
You have roughly 30 minutes before you evacuate from Tsunami after you feel the first earthquake. Luckily we have high hills just behind our location. This means you are completely safe from Tsunami as long as you evacuate to the hill within 30 minutes.
As you can see from the example of the Great East Japan Earthquake, there is about 30 minutes from the occurrence of a normal earthquake to the arrival of a tsunami.The hotel is connected by a road with a hill more than 30 meters above sea level behind.This area is extremely safe if you evacuate immediately after the earthquake.
