In the house: central heating system, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use). Pre-arrival grocery service. Shop, supermarket 750 m, restaurant, bar 450 m, bakery 700 m, 12 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.8 km, railway station "Wengen" 750 m, outdoor swimming pool 1 km. Cable car, skisport facilities 600 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Additional accommodations can be booked. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

The best place our walking group has ever stayed in. Such a great spot, with lovely views to wake up to. The apartment has everything you need, and worked very well for our group of 8 women. No hesitation in recommending.

Chalet Helene was exquisite. Our family of 5 adults shared the 3BR/3BA lodge in a comfortable, spacious, fully equipped place with breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps. The location was in a quiet section of town with a lovely, easy walk to the center (6-8 minutes). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to all travelers looking for a very special chalet. Thank you, the Pennington Family.

I stayed with my family at the beginning of May and despite the rainy weather we absolutely loved it! It was our first time visiting Switzerland and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The location of the apartment was perfect, only 15 min walking distance to the station (bit of an uphill walk!) The views were absolutely incredible from the apartment, we could have stayed here all day. The kitchen was very well equipped with all utensils you may need, had good cleaning supplies and the apartment was cleaned very well. It is a very cosy apartment, perfect for a family. They even had some games to play like Jenga and cards! The only thing is that some bathrooms don’t have locks so keep that in mind when travelling with a big group!
