In the house: storage room for skis, central heating system, ski boot dryer. Room cleaning (extra). In Winter: please take snow chains. Roofed, parking at the house. Supermarket, shopping centre 650 m, restaurant 600 m, bakery 700 m, bicycle rental 900 m, 5 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Altersheim" 200 m, railway station "Grindelwald Dorf" 600 m, outdoor swimming pool 2.5 km, indoor swimming pool 700 m. M. and D. were wonderful hosts and communication with them prior to the visit was very easy and made our arrival completely stress-free. The accommodation is on the ground floor of the chalet with the twin bedroom being upstairs accessible via a spiral staircase. The bedrooms are quite small but worked fine for us and had comfortable beds. The living area is large and very well-equipped with nice quality glassware and there is a cute terrace where you can admire the views of the Eiger.
