Beautiful house and surroundings. Host Daniel was great to work with. We had 6 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of space. Convenient location to where we were during our stay and Daniel gave us some recommendations to go see which proved to be well worth our time to visit.

Everything was perfect. For our first night in Ireland we could not have asked for any thing more! Ziggy and Coco were an added bonus!

The grounds and the house itself are spectacular. Large kitchen and lounge, several comfy bedrooms. The house was very well stocked with anything you might need, from firewood to laundry detergent. There was bonus apple trees with delicious apples and 2 dogs that the kids adored. Some downsides - check in was a bit of a hassle. I was sent an email that implied the host would be at the property but when we arrived no one was there and had to message to get instructions for key. Spiders - we're from Australia so we don't mind a couple of spiders, but there were a lot of spiders! It's an old house, I get it, but still. Old wiring meant some lights and light switches were temperamental or didn't work. Overall we had a lovely stay, but wasn't perfect.

The property is beautiful with a peaceful countryside setting. The long, secluded drive feels special, and there is a bench overlooking the valley & river that was a favorite quiet spot. The home reminded us of an Italian villa. However, there were several issues. There were a lot of spiders in the home, specifically in one of the bedrooms. With vines covering much of the exterior and no window screens, opening windows meant insects, so we kept them closed. My room was up a narrow spiral staircase with low ceilings, a beam to duck under, and a low bathroom mirror. I felt like Snow White in the Seven Dwarfs home. The bed was low to the ground and not very comfortable. Although my sister said the master room bed was very comfortable. My room also served as the second bathroom, but its location made it inconvenient for the others, so the group mainly used the downstairs bathroom. There were maintenance issues: the upstairs toilet flushed poorly, the downstairs shower drained slowly, and my bathroom had dust, a hair on the trash can lid, and no hand soap. On a positive note, the owner was very kind and helpful, allowing us to use a nearby rental for cooking when the gas was not turned on, later meeting me to return a forgotten sweatshirt and was appreciative of the feedback I gave him. Overall, the property has a stunning location & charm, but guests should expect rustic conditions & possibly maintenance issues.
