Location: very good. An upmarket residential area to the North of St Johns about 1 mile from Dickinson bay beach and 1 mile from the excellent Epicurean supermarket.Facilities: Also good. Fridge and freezer, toaster, microwave, cooker. Plenty of hot water. Towels, soaps dishcloths etc. supplied. Aircon in the two bedrooms, the one in the back room is very effective so we used that room. Insect mesh on all windows. The bed we used was comfortable. Previous renters had left the doors open so we needed a can of Raid to get rid of the mozzies but that's to be expected. Once the house was clear it stayed clear.We enjoyed our stay

Only there for six nights but it was more than adequate for a longer stay. Wonderful host, the only downside was the very noisy road the propery was on, just a pain for breakfast on the terrace or a quiet evening after a long hot day.

The property is very nicely maintained and the hosts made us feel welcome. The kitchen is well stocked with everything for cooking. Although they share the property, we felt private and safe. Dickenson Beach is beautiful and a short 5 minutes drive. Groceries, fuel, and restaurants are close also. It was a really great vacation! Thanks so much

Cottage is excellent, full kitchen, A/C and enough space. It is well placed to visit many great places by car. Area feels very safe and quiet. Property manager lives next door and was very friendly & helpful, they even gave us a number for a car hire which wasn't available online. Another few doors down is LikeaLatte, a really nice cafe restaurant, round the corner is the fancier restaurant NOMAD. However, if you want to go further eg. Supermarkets, St John's, Dickenson Bay Beach, be prepared to either walk for over 30 mins in the heat with minimal pavements, get a taxi or hire a car. The property is not situated in St John's itself, its on what the locals call 'West Indies Oil road', by the West Indies Oil Company. This is a great location if you have access to a car, otherwise you're kind of out on your own relying on taxis. However, this is probably the case with most of the properties on Antigua. We had an excellent stay here.
