Going to the beach? Pack a picnic and don't forget to bring a kite. Build a fire on the beach to warm up (check for fire ban and city rules). Firewood can be purchased from IGA.
Stroll the High Dune Trail, opened October 2023, and take in the fresh air and beauty among the dunes. Catch the beautiful sunset. Drive South to North Jetty for beach combing.

Amazing little place! Close to everything, so clean and quiet. Host was so friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back.

It’s a nice room in a very quiet area. I appreciated the kitchen supplies/tools. It has a higher-end mini fridge and I like that the freezer section was separate from the rest of it. However, because of that, the fridge itself is very small. It worked for us because we were only there for two days, but if it’s been a longer stay, that wouldn’t have. Also, there’s no deadlock or inside security latch.
We hadn’t stayed in Ocean Shores before and it’s unlikely we’ll return. No safe way to walk to the beach. (What’s up with the lack of sidewalks?)
My final comment has nothing to do with this property, but the Expedia photo for this place is not a photo of it; just a stock photo. That was a little misleading.

Clean unit. Comfortable bed. Sliding glass doors opened onto small deck overlooking the parking area in front of the building which allowed no feeling of privacy or place of relaxation.
Not close enough to the beach to hear the sound of the waves or see the ocean. But approximately $100 cheaper than hotels along the beach with views.
