Reviewer Comments:
My family had an incredible time at the Chelan Lookout/On a Whim rental. The view from the deck is to die for- truly spectacular and so much space on the deck. We had 20+ people at our house one night and it didn’t feel cramped at all. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of kitchenware, pots/pans, etc. The downstairs area was great for our kids and had lots of games for them to stay busy. The garage/gaming area with cornhole, darts and ping pong was a nice touch as well. The pools and common area are great too and the staff does a great job of having daily activities to take advantage of as well. It was also really nice that there’s a shuttle service to take you down to the lake. It’s a short walk from the house but fairly steep if you decide to walk back up. The area down by the lake is really nice- lots of space with lawn chairs, grass and plenty of beach front. M family and I would love to return again. My only minor complaint is that street parking was tough to come by at times but not really needed if you park in the garage or in the driveway adjacent to the garage. I strongly recommend the Lookout and “On a Whim” for any families or groups of 7+ with kids.
